Environmental Friendliness as Mission
As a Swiss company, located in the beautiful “Mittelland” and acting on a global scale, Micro Crystal is committed to keep all its activities environmental friendly. The aim is to protect nature as much as possible for the following generations and take the challenge and prove also in this sense its leadership in the industry while delivering technology leading products.
Micro Crystal is willing to have the environmental friendliness proven by an external authority. Therefore the company achieved an ISO 14001 certification already in 2005 and will undergo regular audits to keep this certification.
Environmental Friendly Products
One of the key focuses to make a positive impact on the environment is the development of “green” products. This leads to products with specifications that enable also our customers to improve their impact on the environment. This means that the Micro Crystal Oscillators and RTCs operate on ultra low power and its crystals show an ultra low series resistance, enabling customers to design reliable, ultra low power applications.
The other dimension is the use of environmental friendly material. All Micro Crystal products are RoHS compliant some of them even 100% lead free. Furthermore, the products are fully compliant to the REACh Directive, an official declaration can be downloaded from the link below.
